Pyithu Hluttaw Roundup

Untitled-1REPORTS on the Pyithu Hluttaw Farmers, Workers and Youth Affairs Committee, as well as its National Plan, Union Budget and Taxation Scrutinising Committee were submitted during yesterday’s parliamentary session. MPs were invited to discuss the reports during upcoming sessions.
Reports by the Pyithu Hluttaw Rights of Citizens, Democracy and Human Rights Committee and the Pyithu Hluttaw Social Development Committee were also presented for approval.
The contents of the People’s Debt Management Bill of the Ministry of Finance were read out, while bills on Insurance Business and Savings Banks Laws, with amendments by Amyotha Hluttaw, were also submitted for approval.
In response to a question raised by Daw Khin San Hlaing of Pale Constituency over measures being taken by the ministry for  the conservation of watershed  areas in Myanmar, the Deputy Minister for Environmental Conservation and Forestry clarified that the ministries are working with one another, international organisations and experts to promulgate a National Land Use Policy.— Myanmar News Agency
