THE 11th Tazaungdine hot-air balloon festival kicked off at Maha Arnthtoo Kantha Pagoda in Pyin Oo Lwin on Monday with Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Ye Myint and officials in attendance. Basic education students performed songs and dances at the event in commemoration of the festival. A total of 109 hot-air balloons were released.
