President’s assistance to Rakhine flood-victims delivered

Relief assistance for flood victims in Rakhine State purchased with the special reserve funds of the president was transported from Yangon to Sittway by military aircraft on Sunday afternoon.
The ceremony to present the relief assistance was held at the hall of the airport, with attendance by Chief Minister U Maung Maung Ohn, senior military officers, state ministers, officials and the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Border Affairs presented the assistance including 4,000 blankets, 4,000 mosquito nets, 16 barrels of edible oil, 2,000 bags of rice, 120 bags of pulses and beans, 700 solar lamps and 700 family kits to officials.
