President U Thein Sein attends 71st Armed Forces Day commemorative dinner

PRESIDENT U Thein Sein attended a dinner hosted by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior-General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla to mark the 71st Anniversary Armed Forces Day in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
At the dinner, President U Thein Sein and wife, together with Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife, greeted those present at the dinner including Vice-President Dr Sai Maunk Kham and wife Daw Nann Shwe Hmone, Vice-President U Nyan Tun and wife Daw Khin Aye Myint, Union Election Commission Chairman U Tin Aye, Deputy Commander-in-Chief Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior-General Soe Win and wife, Union ministers, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) and Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Khin Aung Myint and wife, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice-Admiral Tin Aung San and wife, retired top brasses and wives, Speakers of the two parliaments and wives, deputy ministers, military representatives to the parliament, commanding officers of the military parades, winners of the honorary titles from 2011 to 2015 for bravery, representatives from the armed groups which have signed the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement, military attachés’ of embassies, representatives from the Myanmar Police Force and Myanmar Fire Brigade, War Veterans Organization and militia and border guards, students and winners of the competitions held to mark the71st Armed Forces Day.
During the dinner, artistes entertained those present at the dinner with songs accompanied to Myawady Music Band of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare.
After the dinner, Myawady traditional entertainment troupe and members of the mobile public relations companies performed the traditional dances.
