President U Htin Kyaw tours Incheon Free Economic Zone in Republic of Korea

PRESIDENT U Htin Kyaw, en route to Mongolia to attend the 11th ASEM Summit, dropped in at the Incheon Free Economic Zone of the Republic of Korea yesterday morning.
The President and party visited the 33-story Songdo G-Tower within the zone’s Songdo International Business City.
The 490-foot-tall Songdo G-Tower was started to build in 2010 and opened in 2013. The building has a park on its 29th floor and a free economic zone centre which is located on the 33rd. An observation deck on the top of the G-Tower provides views of Incheon Bridge and Songdo New City below.
The President then went to the U-City Centre of the G-Tower where officials gave a brief account of the Songdo Business City and U-City Centre.
Following this the President visited the Memorial Hall for the Incheon Landing Operation and watched documentary video clips on the Korean War.
Afterwards, Myanmar Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Thura U Thet Oo Maung hosted the President for a luncheon at a Korean traditional food restaurant in the city.
The President and party left for Mongolia in the afternoon and arrived at Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in the evening.—Myanmar News Agency
