President U Htin Kyaw receives Chief of Royal Thai Armed Forces

President U Htin Kyaw received General Surapong Suwana-Adth, Chief of the Defence Forces of the Royal Thai Armed Forces at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters relating to promoting bilateral cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand and cooperation between the two armed forces in bringing about peace and development in the border areas of the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Union Minister for Defence Lt-Gen Sein Win and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Tin.—Myanmar News Agency
