THE President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Thein Sein received a Chinese delegation led by Mr. Wang Binghua, chairman of the State Power Investment Corporation-SPIC of the People’s Republic of China and party at a hall of the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the call, matters related to ensuring cooperation in the development of the electric power sector and conducting a feasibility study that will help prevent flooding from the Ayeyawady river in cooperation with international experts were discussed.
Also present at the call were Union Ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Khin Maung Soe and U Zeya Aung, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr.Hong Liang and officials.
