PPE informs UEC of difficulty in printing ballot papers after 31 Oct

The Printing and Publishing Enterprise of the Ministry of Information said on Tuesday that it would not be able to timely print ballot papers that are sent to it after the end of this week.
The PPE announced that it had informed the UEC that it cannot guarantee ballot paper orders that are sent to it before Saturday, 31 October will be filled. There may be difficulties in completing the printing process in time if the UEC place more orders this week. The PPE has printed ballot papers of standard quality in accordance with data scrutinized and approved by the Union Election on schedule so far.
The PPE printed over 130 million ballot papers by 22 October.—Myanmar News Agency
