Loikaw, 29 March —The Kayah State peace talks took place at the hall of Kayah State government in Loikaw on 28 March, with an opening address by Vice Chairman of the Union Peace-making Work Committee Union Minister at the President Office U Aung Min.
A delegation led by Union Minister U Aung Min and a delegation led by Vice Chairman of Kayinni National Progressive Party-KNPP U Khu Oo Rei openly discussed peace process in
Kayah State.
Also present at the talk were union ministers U Soe Thane, U Ohn Myint, U Khin Yi and U Than Htay, Kayah State Chief Minister U Khin Maung Oo, members of UPWC, ministers of Kayah State, and officials of Myanmar Peace Center. MNA
