Over Ks 3 billion to be spent for rural development

Sagaing Region Planning and Financial Department will spend a total of Ks 3.133 billion on the rural development in Pale township, Yinmabin district in Sagaing region in FY2017-2018, according to a report in Myanma Alinn Daily.
The planning department will spend Ks 2.063 billion of Union government budget funds on building and renovating a women domestic vocational training center, constructing roads to connect the villages between Thitgyidine, Yaytha, Hsegyi and Sityin, building Pale Township schools, building a rural health center and its housing for employee, building a new ward for Pale General Hospital, building a traditional dispensary and its employee housing and upgrading the Monywa between Pale and Gangaw road, said Daw Su Su Win, assistant director from township planning department.
Moreover, the department will spend Ks 1.070 billion in regional government funds to upgrade the North Yamar dam, provide assistance to flood victims, upgrade the entrance road to Moe Kaung village, renovate the concrete entrance road to Aima village, build a house for the township administrator, erect the office of township livestock breeding and veterinary department building, build a garden to house 100,000 seeding plants, and install a transformer and 400 V power cables between Pale and Min Dinebin line and LaeNgok and Pale.— GNLM
