A total of 848,006 students appeared for the matriculation exam for biology and economics subjects for the 2018-2019 academic year at exam centres in Myanmar and overseas yesterday.
The number of exam centres totalled 1,712, with 21 based overseas and 1,691 across the country for Biology Subject.

On the seventh day of the matriculation exam, 190,602 of the total 196,888 students registered across Myanmar took the test for Biology Subject, while 6286 students remained absent.
Likewise, 657,404 of the total 699,394 students registered across Myanmar took the test for Economics Subject, while 419,90 students remained absent for the subject.
Thus, 96.81 per cent of the students took the examination for Biology and 94 per cent took the examination for Economics yesterday.
Of the total students, 41 are taking the exam from the hospital, one is hearing impaired, 30 have physical disabilities, 17 are in prison, for Biology and 119 are taking the exam from the hospital, 24 are blind and 14 are hearing impaired, 108 have physical disabilities, 164 are in prison, for Economics.
