Over 725,000 take matriculation exam on sixth day

A total of 725,449 students appeared for the matriculation exam for Physics for the 2018-2019 academic year at exam centres in Myanmar and overseas yesterday.
The number of exam centres totalled 1,870, with 20 based overseas and 1,850 across the country.
On the sixth day of the matriculation exam, 725,449 of the total 763,643 students registered across Myanmar took the test, while 38,194 students remained absent.
Thus, 95 per cent of the students took the examination yesterday.
Of the total students, 139 are taking the exam from the hospital, 11 are hearing impaired, 101 have physical disabilities, 105 are in prison, and 118 are from Myawady Township, Kayin State.
