No need to worry about the health of the State Counsellor

State Counsellor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s health problems are not serious, but she needs immediate rest, according to a statement released by her office yesterday.
The statement said that she has received a medical check-up, with physicians concluding that she was tired from the tight schedules she had to keep during her visits to the U.S. and the U.K.
Her lack of rest and  irregular meals have caused gastritis, the physicians said. Also, spending too much time on the computer has worsened her cervical spondylosis, said the statement. Cervical spondylosis is wear on the cervical vertebrae. It is a common cause of chronic neck pain.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi returned to Myanmar on Sunday night. Her pictures on social media being transported in a wheelchair through the Yangon International Airport sparked concerns about her health.
Her office announced that a scheduled meeting between Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Myanmar businessmen on Wednesday has been postponed. An alternate date will be announced later.—GNLM
