Nay Pyi Taw primary schools honour outstanding students

Win of Wisdom private Primary School in Tatkon, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, honoured its outstanding students from the 2014-2015 academic year on 26 September at Aung San Hall.
Eight scholarships and punctuality prizes were given to the top three students in kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade by township education officer U Tint San and other school staff.
According to a school official, the school’s daily schedule includes study time, as well as physical education and family time for the students.
The school also cooperates with parents in making time for students to watch films, play video games and read books, added the official.
On the same day in Pobbathiri Township, outstanding students were honoured at the township’s No 13 Basic Education High School.
Otthaya District education officer U Ba Tun, township deputy education officer U Maung Tint and school principle U Tin San presented awards to teachers and 24 outstanding students.
At the ceremony, students performed songs and dances after the awards were distributed.
