Vice President U Henry Van Thio highlighted the importance of community-based Disaster Management planning for preparedness, prevention, response and recovery operations while addressing a work coordination meeting of the National Natural Disaster Management Committee (NNDMC) in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
In his address, the Vice President, chairman of the committee, said those who have a role in disaster management must follow Natural Disaster Management law, rules and regulations that have been enacted.
