The Myanmar Football Federation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with My Sports for the live broadcast of matches of the National Football Team, which will be made available to fans through a free-to-air service soon.
The announcement for the new service was made by the MFF yesterday.
The MoU was signed at the Novotel Yangon Max Hotel on Wednesday, and the signing ceremony was attended by officials from the MFF, the Myanmar National League, and My Sports.
With the MoU, the MFF has sold the broadcasting rights for football matches to My Sports for the very first time.
The move will help generate funds for the development of Myanmar football, said a source with the MFF.
The MFF will work hand-in-hand with My Sports for free-to-air access for football fans and detailed information about the new service will be released soon, said the source.—Lynn Thit(Tgi)
