Myanmar, Thailand convene 16th consultation meeting on technical cooperation

The 16th Myanmar-Thailand Consultation on Technical Cooperation Meeting was held from 8 to 9 November at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The Myanmar delegation was led by U Chan Aye, Director-General of International Organizations and Economic Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Thai delegation was led by Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency under the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the matters on technical cooperation between Myanmar and Thailand, Human Resources Development programmes and its prospects for future cooperation.
They also further exchanged views on the completed and on-going projects under the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) framework.—MNA
