Myanmar, Singapore pledge strengthening of ties

President U Thein Sein received a delegation led by Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Mr Teo Chee Hean at the Credentials Hall of the Presidential Palace, here, on Wednesday.
U Thein Sein and Mr Teo Chee Hean, who is also Singapore’s Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs, discussed further cementing bilateral ties, development of human resources and cooperation in the financial sector.
Also present at the meeting were union ministers Lt-Gen Ko Ko, Lt-Gen Wai Lwin, U Wunna Maung Lwin and U Ye Htut, and officials, and Singaporean Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Robert Chua.
