MSMEs receive awards on last day of national trade fair, contest

The awarding ceremony of the National MSMEs Products Trade Fair and Contest was held at Myanmar International Convention Centre II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. Union Industry Minister U Khin Maung Cho, who is also Vice Chair of the MSMEs Development Working Committee, presented awards at the ceremony.
Firstly, the Union Minister delivered the opening speech and Daw Aye Aye Win, Director-General of the Directorate of Industrial Supervision & Inspection, explained the selection criteria.
The award ceremony commenced with the Union Minister conferring awards on first place winners, Deputy Education Minister U Win Maw Tun conferring awards on second place winners, and Permanent Secretary U Ko Ko Lwin of the Ministry of Industry conferring awards on third place winners.
Next, the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, Permanent Secretary, directors-general, officials, panel judges, and award recipients posed for a documentary photo together.

Myanmar Economic Bank has offered loans at lower rates to acknowledge the 14 winners of the National MSMEs Contest. The three-day-event opened 271 booths displaying household and artisanal products, food products, industrial production products, cotton fibre and textile products, service products, and booths from the Ministry of Industry. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Htet Oo)
