THE Townships of Linkhe Disrict in south Shan State have begun to receive sufficient electricity after more transformers were installed in late November.
With an allotment from the 2015-2016 budget of Shan State, the district Myanma Electrical Power Enterprise constructed a 11/.4KV,200KVA TA and installed two 200 KVA transformers at Linkhe town in late November, said district EPC engineer U Aung Naing Oo.
“At Maukmeai township a 1600 ft 11-KV cable and 200 KVA -TRI have been installed and the 400 V wooden posts were changed into concrete posts. At Mongpan township, 11/ .4,200KVA, and 200 KVA transformers were installed,” he added
From December the locals of the townships of Linkhe District are getting sufficient electricity, the official said.
