More than 60 works by late art master Kin Maung Yin showcased to public

MORE than 60 works by late art master Kin Maung Yin, regarded as one of the second generation of Myanmar’s modern artists, is exhibited at Gallery Sixty Five from  Saturday to Monday.
“I collected many of his paintings. Before he died, I made some of his art exhibitions and compiled a copy of his Memory- but, I was not gratified for some accidental error. I did my decision to make next exhibition of U Kin Maung Yin,” said U Thein Win, who made the exhibition and a book of Kin Maung Yi-Art of Life.
“What I do hope is for sharing his works, his ideology, his creation philosophy among art lovers, he said in the book.  U Kin Maung Yin died at 73 in June, 2014.
According to U Win Pe, a friend of U Kin Maug Yin and a 74-year-old artist, Kin Maung Yin understood the arts from various “isms” such as Cubism, Impressionism, Abstract and Surrealism.
(U) Kin Maung Yin is especially interested in space vibration as he was an architect and is a man who loved just creating paintings without caring if he would be a success or not, said U Win Pe.
Gallery Sixty Five is located at 65, Yawmingyi Road in Dagon Township.
