MOI donates stationery to Tiddim and Reedhorda libraries

Union Minister of Information Dr. Pe Myint, together with his entourage and Chin State Minister for Social Affairs U Paung LunHtan, arrived in Tiddim, Chin State on Wednesday morning.
They arrived in Shaungsawn village around 1 pm and observed Chin traditional accessories and traditional buildings, then provided cash donations for the village.
Afterwards, the Union Minister and entourage visited the Information and Public Relations Department and inspected the children’s reading room, library and Chin traditional handicrafts on display.
The Union Minister instructed on how to include the history behind the handicrafts on display and supply information on their day-to-day use, and also gave instructions on how to adapt the department building into a community centre. He then presented exercise books for the children of staff members.
At around 3 pm, the Union Minister and entourage travelled to Laintwe and Shinsham villages near the Tiddim-Reed highway and donated the periodicals to the libraries.
Later, they arrived in Reedhorda around 5:30 pm and yesterday morning and visited the Township’s Information and Public Relations Department and inspected the children’s reading room, library and Chin traditional handicrafts on display. The Union Minister then donated exercise books for children of the staff members.—Myanmar News Agency
