The Zabuthiri Township Information and Public Relations Department brought mobile libraries to Latpankhahla and Gonmininn villages on 11 September. The visit was part of the department’s effort to bring books to people who are unable to visit libraries due to livelihood constraints.
The mobile libraries, under the supervision of the Ministry of Information, are meant to nurture reading habits among rural youth and increase the number of readers in rural villages. The mobile facilities will visit the two villages every Thursday.
