MNA to commence Yangon-Singapore service 17 August

Yangon, 14 July— Myanmar National Airlines will spread its wings to Singapore on 17 August, resuming international services for the first time in 22 years, the carrier announced Tuesday.
Using a brand new Boeing 737-800, MNA will fly to Singapore Sunday through Friday, departing Yangon at 10:15 a.m. and arriving in Singapore at 2:45 p.m. local time, the airline said.
The service will depart Singapore at 4 p.m. local time and arrive in Yangon at 5.30 p.m.
The national carrier plans to make the Yangon-Singapore service seven days a week from 25 October.
MNA has also touted plans to include 26 domestic destinations in August and four destinations in the Asia Pacific region in early 2016 such as Hong Kong and Taipei in an expanded flight roster.
The Boeing 737-800 arrived at Yangon International Airport on 15 June, 2015. Six pilots and seven copilots have been undertaking flight training with the plane since 18 Junes. GNLM
