To provide healthcare services to residents along the Ayeyawady river in Ayeyawady Region, specialists, medical assistants and nurses from a military medical mobile team left for Ayeyawady Region from No. 4 jetty of the Myanmar Navy in Yangon on two Navy hospital vessels, Shwe Pazun and Saku, on Tuesday.
The medical team was seen off by high-ranking officers and their families.
The team is compased of specialists in eye diseases, bone diseases, childhood diseases, dental diseases, obstetrics, gynaecology and ear, nose and throat diseases. The team will also provide medical check ups using X-rays and ultrasound.
