Military families pay respect to former senior military officers

Families of the army, the navy and the air forces paid respects to retired senior military officers who attended the 71st anniversary Armed Forces Day yesterday.
The ceremony was held at Zeyathiri Beikman in Nay Pyi Taw. At the event, Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing described former senior military officers as mentors and expressed his gratitude to their leadership roles. Former Maj-Gen Thura Saw Phyu, former Brig-Gen Tint Swe, former Brig-Gen Hla Tun and former Lt-Gen Tun Kyi spoke words of advice and guidance. The event attracted 39 senior officers and 14 wives.
