Military chief meets maritime, aviation courses’s trainees

COMMANDER-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing lectured trainees in basic and advanced maritime and aviation courses yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
At the meeting with the students attending basic and advanced maritime and aviation courses conducted at navy and aviation headquarters, the Senior General said the country’s future depends on the young generation of people between 10 and 24, which makes up about 30 per cent of the country’s population.
He also urged older generations to assist in shaping the future of the country.
Maritime and aviation courses for young people started in 2014, and courses this year started on 25 April and ended on 20 May.
So far, 2,002 youths have completed these maritime and aviation courses.—Myawady
