Largest boat kept at monastery in Yesagyo Tsp

11140261_1615395378700964_936647080939450210_nnUnder supervision of abbot U Kelasa, a 105-foot-long, 3.5-foot-wide boat identified “Maha Zabukyaw” is kept in the precinct of Mya Yadana monastery in Kandaunt village, Yesagyo Township, said an official. “I think the boat would be more than 60 years old,” said a local resident.
The boat made of single teak log can give seats to 56 people. The abbot keeps the boat under a shed. According to the local people, Maha Zabukyaw boat is the largest of its kind in Yesagyo Township.
