KIA launches landmine attack on military columns in northern Shan state

Nay Pyi Taw, 14 July— Kachin Independence Army reportedly attacked government military columns in northern Shan state on Monday, according to Myawady media.
KIA launched attacks on the patrolling government army units by using remote control landmines and heavy weapons near Kaungkha village in Kyukok Township.
Counter attack of the military killed one KIA member and found two electric circuits in using remote control landmines.
KIA’s rocket attack left one death and two injured civilians. Myawady
