KBZ listed in world finance 100-2015 at World Economic Forum

KANBAWZA Bank (KBZ) has been announced as one of the 100 best companies for 2015 of the world at the World Economic forum.
At the forum yesterday, which is being held from 18 to 23 January in Davos, Switzerland, London-based World Finance released its “World Finance 100 (2015)”.
World Finance announced that KBZ is listed in the  “World Finance 100-2015)” list, for its achievements in opening many branches nationwide in 2015 within a short time, improving modern banking services, transparency, assisting in local private businesses to develop the country’s economy and private sector, being ranked as the country’s top tax payer for four consecutive years, running business linking with local and international financial institutions, following rules and regulations laid down by international institutions and active participation in and contribution to religion, education, health and social sectors in the country.
Chairman of KBZ U Aung Ko Win was also awarded with the Special Honourary State Excellence Award by the president for the bank’s highest contribution to tax and has won many international banking prizes including the Bank of the Year in Asia 2015.
Along with KBZ, Apple IT (USA), Barclays Bank (England), BMW Company (Germany), BNP Paribas Bank (France), Emirates Airline (UAE) and Qatar National Bank (QNB), ANZ Bank (Australia), Toyota Company (Japan), HSBC Bank (Hong Kong), Sinopec (China) and SingTel (Singapore) are also listed in the “World Finance 100 (2015)”.— GNLM
