TO supply fresh water to people facing a scarcity of drinking water due to drought induced by El  Nino, KBZ’s Brighter Future  Myanmar Foundation is sending its fleet of  water tankers to areas in southern Shan State, Sagaing and Twantay daily. On Monday the foundation’s fleet moved 2800 to 3600 gallon water tankers which were sent out to several villagers around Taunggyi to supply water to the people there.
The foundation had supplied water to the people of several villages around Shwenyaung and Heho in southern Shan State on 6 and 7 May and also filled water into a concrete tank for fire fighting at Heho Airport and the staff quarters.
Meanwhile, employees of the KBZ bank branch in Sagaing visited some villages about 14 miles away from the town and supplied drinking  water to the people there currently facing a scarcity of water on the same day while employees from Twantay branch supplied drinking water to people in villages in the southern part of Yangon.
