KBZ’s Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation provided 2,800 gallons of drinking water to the people of Pyawbwelay Village in Twantay Township yesterday as locals were experiencing scarcity of water.
The KBZ’s convoy of water bowsers reached the village located about 7 miles from Twantay yesterday and distributed drinking water to the villagers.
The foundation has also planned to supply drinking water to the people in 65 village-tracts in the township this dry season.
With 20 water bowsers, the Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation supplied water to the areas experiencing a scarcity of water nationwide.
The foundation received an  award for excellence in social responsibility from the president in 2015 for its water supply project including drilling tube wells, water supply and building water supply facilities nationwide.
It has so far spent US$5 million on its water supply project.
The foundation also received the London-based Euromoney’s Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2015 last year.
