KBZ foundation donates US$76,000 to medical clinic

The Kanbawza Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation donated K100 million (US$76,441) to the Luyichuan (“outstanding student”) Free Clinic in New Hlaingthaya Township, Yangon.
The clinic has 28 doctors, 17 of whom are 17 specialists. The clinic has treated approximately 13,000 patients free of charge since it was founded in August 2014 by a group of outstanding medical graduates and private donors.
Other members of the public donated K26 million ($19,875) on Sunday. The donations were accepted by a Dr Pe Thet Khin, a former outstanding student and adviser to the Luyichuan Organisation from 1964 to 1988.
KBZ Group national senior administrator U Nyo Myint, who was a former luyichuan, also donated to the clinic.
The organisation’s president, Dr Tin Myo Win, thanked the doctors at the clinic and presented them with gifts.
