JCB Football Clinic and friendly tournament launched in Yangon

With the joint cooperation of Myanmar Football Federation (MFF), Myanmar National League (MNL) and JCB Co.Ltd, a football clinic was launched yesterday morning and its friendly tournament was held in the evening at the artificial turf ground of MFF in Yangon, Myanmar.
The event was intended for identifying, nurturing and training the next generation of youth footballers in Myanmar along with improving their physical and mental development.
A total of sixteen teams divided into two groups competed in the friendly tournament and the two most scorers Group (G) and Group (B) met in the final.
The Group (B) won the champion of the friendly tournament by beating the Group (G) with 2-0 result while Group C secured the third place by beating the Group (E) with the penalty play in the third place fight match.
A total of 80 kids, who were interested in football, along with football coaches and officials from JCB, MFF and MNL participated in the event.
JCB is an originally Japan Credit Bureau, a credit card company based in Tokyo, Japan provided support in Myanmar’s football development for youth.—Kyaw Zin Lin
