Japan, Myanmar sign MoU on cooperation in postal services

Nay Pyi Taw, 31 May — A Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology U Myat Hein and his Japanese counterpart signed an MoU on cooperation in postal services on 26 May in Japan.
The Myanmar delegation also visited post offices in Tokyo and viewed the provision of banking, insurance and customer services there, before discussing application of online money order system software instead of fax machines manufactured by Hitachi Company.
The delegation also visited the Cyber Security Factory of NEC Company and viewed mobile test vehicles.
The delegation also met with officials of Libral Democratic Party before returning home on 30 May.  MNA
