Japan-Myanmar Association honours outstanding students before excursion to Japan

A dinner in honour of 20 outstanding students in 2014-2015 academic year was hosted at Chartrium Hotel on 3 September, before their excursion to Japan arranged by Myanmar-Japan Association (MJA).
Yangon Region’s Chief Minister U Myint Swe, Yangon Region Hluttaw speaker U Sein Tin Win, Yangon Mayor U Hla Myint, Kanbawza Bank Executive Director and Vice Chairperson of Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation Daw Nang Kham Noung, Japanese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Tateshi HIGUCHI, Chairman of MJA U Saw Hla Min and party attended
the dinner.
Brighter Future Myanmar sponsored the whole excursion together with Japan’s Mitsui Company and Skynet channel. The pocket money for Japan excursion was supported by Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation and Golden Investment. These outstanding students for Japan excursion were selected by Japan Myanmar Association scholarship. The excursion to Japan will take 9 days from September 5th to 13th.
Last year, Brighter Future Myanmar Foundation sent 20 outstanding students for an 8-day-long excursion to Japan.
