Japan Funds-In-Trust assists in cultural heritage conservation in Bagan

AS part of a technical assistance for the conservation of build heritage in Bagan, Japan Funds-In-Trust donated books and equipment to Ministry of Culture yesterday through the UNESCO.
At the ceremony in Bagan, Mr Umar Alam of UNECSO clarified conservation of cultural heritage in Bagan and Mr Kunihiko Yasuda, the first Secretary of Japanese Embassy, handed over the books and equipment donated by Japan Funds-In-Trust to Union Minister for Culture U Aye Myint Kyu.
Pro Masahiko Tomoda and U Soe Soe Lin, a deputy director of the Ministry of Culture, clarified current conservation works in Bagan.
