SALES of raw and cut jade continued into its second day, attracting more than 1,340 gems merchants at the Maniyadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Gems merchants submitted their tender forms for raw and cut jade lots yesterday. More than 150 raw jade lots and 6,826 pieces of cut jade are to be sold through a tender system, which will conclude later this week. According to officials at the event, merchants are able to submit their tender forms for raw jade lots on 7 and 8 December, and winners will be announced on 9 December. The tender forms for the cut jade will open on 10 December.
