International Exhibition of Construction, Energy and Mining Equipment held in Yangon

THE 3rd International Exhibition of Construction, Energy and Mining Equipment opened at the Myanmar Convention Centre in Yangon on 27 November. It was hosted by the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs’ Association and the Myanmar Mining Entrepreneurs’ Association.
President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry U Win Aung, chairman of the Myanmar Mining Entrepreneurs’ Association U Khin Maung Han, deputy chairman of the Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs’ Association U Kyaw Paing and director general U Khin Maung Win of the Electrical Planning Department delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.
The exhibition showcased numerous items of construction equipment which are used in the in construction, energy and mining sectors. The machines and electrical equipment were from over 170 companies based in 21 countries, including Germany, France, Italy, the US, Belarus, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, PR China, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam. The three-day exhibition ended on 29 November.—Maung Pyithu
