India’s relief aid arrives in Kalay region

To supply relief aids to flood victims in Kalay region, cargo aircraft C-130 of India air force led by Wing Commander Gopi Mohan arrived at Kalay airport Thursday afternoon.
Major General Min Naung, Commander of North-West Command, welcomed the Indian team while Sagaing region minister for transport U Aung Zaw Oo and party accepted relief aid.
For the first time the Indian aircraft carried 180 sacks of rice, 59 boxes of medicine and
instant noodle.
Two more C-17 aircraft of Indian air force also arrived in Mandalay International Airport with relief supplies.—Kalay District IPRD/Min Htet Aung (Mdy)
