“A party of Indians have arrived in Myanmar on a trilateral trade promotion and goodwill visit,” said an official from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.
The three nations are India, Thai and Myanmar. The Indians have arrived by arrangement of Bright View Travels and Tours Co Ltd. They have entered Myanmar via the town of Myawady, and are slated to be proceeding to Yangon followed by Nay Pyi Taw, Bagan , Monywa and Tamu from whence they will return to India on 8 June, it has been learned.
Altogether this year 159 tourists have visited Mongphyat and Kengtung, 72 have visited Mongla, and 177 have visited Taunggyi, Inle, Bagan, Mandalay, Kyaikhtiyoe and Yangon by the use of the tri-national Asia Highway.
