LOCAL authorities destroyed 55 illegal make-shift huts in the National Races village in Yangon on Thursday, taking action against 6 restaurants in connection with the case.
“We destroyed the huts and shut down the restaurants which built them,” said U Zaw Moe, deputy director of Department of Rural Region Development.
The authorities reported to the Head office about the cases and will continue to take action.
There are 12 restaurants in the National Races village.—Zaw Gyi (Panita)
