Hundreds of stimulant tablets seized on Panglaung-Nay Pyi Taw road

Stimulant tablets worth about K2.4million were found in four packets containing 200 tablets each in a vehicle on Panglaung-Nay Pyi Taw road on Sunday, according to the Panglaung Township police.
Police said that six people, including Aung Kyaw Thant, the driver of the car, were arrested after an inspection of the vehicle revealed  the seized stimulant tablets hidden under the seats.
Charges were filed against the driver and five others, police said. — Thein Ko Lwin
