Healthcare services provided to Kayin State residents

A military mobile medical team from the Southeast Command helped provide healthcare services to people in Kayin State on Saturday 20 August.
The mobile medical team treated 190 people Maungma and its surrounding villages in Kawkarait Township, Kayin State, some in need of surgery and some with infections and/or diseases.
The medical team helped arrange further treatment for some at the local military hospital.
The Commander and officers of the Southeast Command presented books and gifts and exercise books to students of a monastic education school in Kawkarait Township.
The Commander paid respects and presented offertories to the presiding Sayardaw of Myoma monastery.
Similarly, Tatmadaw members of Kyaikhto Station of Southeast Command carried out collaborative sanitation work inside and outside of the Kyaikhto General Hospital, it is learnt.—C-in-C’s Office
