GI Group launches Myawady-Yangon-Mandalay-Muse express bus route

BUS company GI Group introduced a new Myawady-Yangon-Mandalay-Muse route on 31 October.  At the launch ceremony in Myawady, District  Deputy Commissioner U Lwin Ko Oo said Myawady, which borders Thailand, is now easily accessible via the Asian Highway. He urged the bus line to take every caution for passengers’ safety.
The opening was also attended by GI Group patron U Thein Oo, chairman U Zarni Aung, members of parliament and local officials. Two express buses will operate the route. A ticket for the Myawady-Yangon sells for K12,000, or K14,000 to include additional services.
The new route ends in Muse, Shan State, which borders Yunnan Province,
China.
