Foreign veterinary students visit Bagan

Students of veterinary medicine from 12 countries, who are currently giving voluntary services to vaccinating cattle in central Myanmar, visited Bagan yesterday.
During the visit, they also visited a horse riding club in Bagan.
The team comprising 75 veterinary students returned Yezin University of Veterinary Science in the eveningfollowing their excursion.
The students from Southeast Asia, the United States, Canada, and Japan have conducted fieldwork in Myinchan Township, Mandalay Region and administered vaccinations to the local livestock and dogs in the area. They have also planted trees for reforestation efforts.
The program is part of the ASEAN Veterinary Volunteer Project 2017.
