Farmers hire agricultural machinery in Yinmabin District

Yinmabin Township Agricultural Mechanization Department has opened branches throughout Yinmabin District to assist local farmers.
Farmers in Pale Township hired combine harvesters to harvest 100 acres of summer paddy. The department charges K30,000 per acre for harvesting.
“Our department opened branches to help with cultivation and harvesting of paddy in the townships as of 25 June,” the head of Yinmabin Township Agricultural Mechanization Department said. “Mainly, we work at ploughing, harvesting and winnowing tasks. Local farmers use the agricultural machinery to save time and money.”–Po Chan (Monywa)
