Explosion claims three lives, injures three, engulfed truck

An explosion hit a twelve-wheeled truck in Chinshwehaw, Laukkai Distirct, yesterday killing three and leaving three injured.
The explosion occurred at 2.15 pm Saturday, engulfed the vehicle loaded with peas bags and  parked at a local terminal, damaging other five trucks.
Authorities confirmed that the dead were U Tun Kyaing, 55, Daw San San Win, 57, and Maung Kyaw Myat Thu, 22, from Kyaukme.
The three wounded are Ye Zaw  Htaik, 24, U Min Thu (Alias) Pho Htaung, 26, and U Ko Lin, 37, and they are being hospitalized at Chinshwehaw People’s Hospital.The police also discovered an improvised mine attached with am 10-inch by 4-inch pack of gun powder at the site.The police assumed that the blast was a time bomb attack and are conducting a probe into the accident.
