Emerald Green project inspected in Kyangin Township

Officials from the Kyangin Township Rural Development Department visited Kyantaw village on 19 September to evaluate the effect of loans locals provided by the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Rural Development’s Emerald Green Rural Development project.
The second instalment of loans from the rural development fund provided K33.779 million (US$25,821) to 76 farmers, 20 livestock breeders and six villagers in other vocations.
Kyangin village, located in Ayeyawady Region, has a population of 423 people.—Township Rural Development Office
