Electricians reinstall power lines following flood suspension

Electricians in Nyaungdon, in Myanmar’s southwestern Ayeyawady Region, have recently been reconnecting residential electrical supplies that had been shut off due to flood danger.
With the Ayeyawady River rising to dangerous levels in Nyaungdon, township electrical workers shut down the power lines and electrical meters at residences for safety.
With the water level receding in the township as of 10 August, the electricians have been reinstalling the power lines and electric meters at residences under the supervision of Township Electrical Engineer U Phyo Kyaw.
